PER FIGURA SOLA is the conclusive and more “theatrical” step of the project Come Conigli started during the spring of 2007.
Come Conigli is based on Fibonacci series (1 1 2 3 5 8 13 21 34 55 89 144 233 377 610 987 1597 2584 4181 6765…) and the golden section.
From this project many different public Irrational visions came up. Each vision has a specific concept and life in itself. I’ll be using them as materials and images to be transformed during the creation of the new performance PER FIGURA SOLA. They will be like notes performed on stage instead of written notes on my notebook.
 


 
PER FIGURA SOLA’S ROUTE

there is an unarmed, ready, disposable, open being

there is the internal chaos in the external order

dynamic symmetry principle - impossibility to stay, nowadays. the human being, the measure of everything, the symbol of which was explicated in Leonardo da Vinci’s Uomo Vitruviano, lost his sense of being.

Description of the project


The action takes places in an empty space (theatre or not)
on the floor a layout, signs delimiting the space of the action, indicating the direction.
an obliged, decided route.
on the stage one single dancer.
her action consists in running along the route through body transformations.
 
light designing is fundamental because of the completely absence of scenography.
 
sound and music will be specially composed for the performance creating the substance, the thickness of the air, the consistence of the place, the colour of the space.
 
there won’t be exit.
nothing will happen outside the stage.
changes of costumes will be done on stage, becoming a part of the performance.
